valve lash
 

When setting valve lash, what is the best way to spin the motor to open and close the valves? Is there something you can do other than clicking the ignition?

You can pull the plugs out and turn it over with a long handle 1/2 ratchet using the damper bolt........

If you don't have one you can put a starter button on the firewall where you can reach it from eather side or just put 2 on (one on each side) and bump it over to check your lash...I think this is how most do it..Good luck
