the start of my project

got the front clip and bed pulled off of it got the frame cleaned and painted. here are a few pics of it tore apart and pressure washing the frame. ill get some pics today where the frame is painted.its ugly but it will come around..

looks like you are off to a good start.

looks good avery, you got a truck, its a s10 and a chevy , now dont sell, put that baby together , go to drag strip in 2008 and SMILE!!!!!!! 8) right on bud

What more could you ask for, neat S10 to work on and having your Dad help ya on it. Good luck on building the truck.

You're doing a great job on that truck. All that work is going to pay off, already looking like a sweet ride.

What ever you do PLEASE do not paint it the same ole colors I see on most S-10's...Go wild man and make it something that when you pull into the track they say "Oh no we're gonna have a bad night" cause here comes that Damn #@#%* colored truck from Lenior City,Tn. :lol:

flames are overplayed... but somtimes look nice :D

id say do somthing completely off the wall.... like an amazon woman riding a unicorn swinging an axe :lol: or conan on the hood and 2 half naked chicks down the side.... no way anyone will forget that.. hahaha..

my plan for my next truck project is painting it olive drab green with pinup girls on my doors *shrug*

Yellow primer and a kick ass truck that don't get beat...forget the body/color just "BAD TO THE BONE FAST"

YES!! I think the most eye catching paint is a well done blacked out car and pinstriping definatly adds to the 'coolness' of a completely black car if done right.

but to each his own and I appreciate any paint job that is done right (no maaco or stick-on carp)

i got the radiator support cleaned and painted. got the front clip put back on. got the bed set back on. got it sanded to metal and one side under primer. the bed is a little rougher then i want so im going to try to find another bed. first im going to start on the motor build. i can run the bed for now if i have to. ill try to get pics tomorrow forgot to take camera to the garage today.

Flat black and pinstriping don't look right on late models.But metal flake works on EVERYTHING.Then again,paint it the way you like it and tell anyone that scoffs at it to beat it.

i tried to take some more pics today but the battery went dead on the camera. so i just got one pic. here is the front end put back together. im getting a chrome bumber for it and new blinkers.so the primer on the blinkers is no big deal.

m getting some more parts from him this weekend. he said if i would run his highlift and drive his dump truck after work and on the weekends he is going to give me what ever i need to finish my motor. ignition stuff electric water pump mini starter and whatever else i need
