I have a 1471, fully stripped ends and rotors, was spinning it 30% OD on a sm/blk, pushing 40 PSI on alcohol, no problems at all, i have run it in 4 yrs, but when i walk by it i give it a turn by the snout, no gear on it, just to keep it free'ed up.

I can't answer that question, although i have a Moonyham blower i've nevr used their services. I would say that they really don't care, they just want to sell blowers instead of rebuilding them. I've used Littlefield blower services since 1986. Although Mert died of a heart attack in 2011, his brother Brad and daughter Lee, still run the business, they always promised me about 2 weeks tirn around and delivered just that. If they haven't started your blower at Moonyham i'd pull and sent it to someone who cares.
Here is the link to Littlefield.

Mooneyham is now out of business, as Gene M died a couple years back. His blowers are legendary in the drag racing field, John Force for one ran them for most of his early world Championships. Blowers no matter the brand can be rebuilt or have runners machined into the roots if required. Some of the guys who rebuild today, depends where you live, Blower Service in Whittier Ca, can help you, Better yet call Supercharger Supply Los Angeles and they can help you no matter where you are Blowers are kind of this type are about standard hundred machine shops that will do your work, as most of the Mooneyham blowers are almost identical to one another, just call any local race distribitor in your area for a reference. Good Luck Diesel L

Ive JUST read this blog out of curiosity, and I have realized that it is frequented at least on this page by insincere, screwballs who have no real interest or experience in the fields to which the blower question was ask, seems they want to be here to make jokes. First Ive\ been in pro drag racing all my, actually since I was 7 years old, and IM still involved in some aspects even as a driver. Mooneyham super chargers were and still are in the top categories of pro drag racing even in the Nitro ranks. They were a highly respected and trusted supplier. sO Go and be your kind of cool some place else you guys, your not helping anyone, especially folks who have to work hard to gain the coin to rebuild such sophisticated equipment, and as are so limited, you don't know about the MOONEYHAM SUPERCHARGERS legacy, YOU SHOULD NOT EVEN BE ON THIS PAGE, its MY FIRST VISIT, AND I'm SAD TO SAY THIS PLACE IS FOR LESSER GEAR HEADS, AND as YOU EMBARRASS YOUR SELVES BY JOKING ABOUT COMPANIES YOU HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT! YOUR WHAT WE older GUYS CALL"BENCH RACERS", as you all make YOUR REDUNDANT PUERILE RETORTS, AND clearly have NOT A LICK OF KNOWLEDGE of which you spew out your useless driveling anecdotes.
