Msd Starter Saver

My Dart run's 36.5 degree's of total timing, I can't set the timing to 36.5 it will buck the starter, I need to install a starter saver to retard the timing so it will crank, A friend of mine gave me one but he lost the paperwork. Anyone know how to install this? P/N MSD 8984.
