im moving my battiery to the truck of my car.what is the best size cable to use?and when running a 1 wire alternater what size wire should i use and is it ok to run it to the starter to charge the battierys?

atleast 2ga welding cable, do not skimp on battery cable it will bit you in the end.
Alt should be atleast 8ga and ran back to the battery or battery side of switch. Do not run it to the starter.
