HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR MOLLY RINGS TO BREAK IN

406 small block new molly rings alittle smokey when you give it a shot of gas not alot but it still does it only got 25 miles on it.Fresh rebuild runs great

mine in my 383 did the same thing but only for about an hour of runtime

what did u gap the rings to?

got the motor allready built just took it out and laid a beating on it gets less all the time maybe it just likes getting beat on ha ha

Don't know about a street motor but the last engine i built it took about 6 or 7 1/4 mile passes before it ran it's best. I don't use them on a street motor, so i don't know how many miles that takes.
