I have heard that for every 100 lbs taken off a car that its a second off of your ET. Is that true? :?: :?: :?: :?: :?:

Closer to 1/10th of a second.Yep, about .1 for every 100 lbs or 10 hp. This applies down to around 10.0sec. After that, it takes more weight reduction and more power to pick up .1

That is the rule, for every 100lbs taken off, that equals out to .10 sec in the 1/4 mile.

Also as a rule...for every pound of rotating weight you loose equals to about five pounds of body weight.
