He told me one of the reasons he didnt ship was because he lived 20 miles out of town.But when I mapquested his address he was down town. when I done a search from his address for a UPS store the closest one was 1.3 miles awayl and 5 with in five miles. there is another Jason Brooks in corinth. less than 2 miles from a ups site. also race freak has sold items on ebay from onebadcamaro's truck the address i sent the converter to is 35 the other jason brooks in corinth is 65 . Still dont line up

well i am telling the truth..like i said im not here to screw anyone..but the nuts that was on them was 3 nuts missing and i was going to put 3 nuts on them but the ones i had wouldnt work..they was at my friends shop and all of them was on them when i got them but when i went to pick them up at my friends shop they was missing 3 nuts..but the ones i had wouldnt fit so i future he had 3 nuts for them..but if he wasnt happy he should have come to me frist before he posted this in here..

Well IMO you just lost all trust from this guy just by doing this stuff. You should have been more upfront with him so that he knew what was going on. Right now I am in the middle of buying a car off of RJ and we keep in touch constantly.

I am still having a hard time believeing all of this. It took you over a month to ship them out to him. That is 2 paydays at least and you didnt even try to ship them out to him on them at all. I think there is more to this than what is being said.

If you dont know what your selling you shouldnt be selling it!!! you should disclose every detail with the buyer before he sends you money, people that dont do that are labeled (scammers)! no i wasnt going to give him old nuts..thats why i didnt send any cause i didnt have any like them..I had some arp nuts like what was on them but the threeds was different and i just didnt send any cause i didnt have any ARP nuts that would fit..Ok i didt know that the size of the pistons but the guy i got them from said that they was standard Bore Pistons..So i guess you cant trust anybody these days..im just going by what was told to me..So i didnt think nothing of them after that..But way they looked they was all the same size from what i could tell..

He put in the box with the pistons a (used) factory bbc flex plate that I can buy new at autozone for like $35.. thats not even the good part. The holes for the torque converter bolts had ben wallered out to fit a small pattern converter. (ALSO JUNK) I ll post pics of that too :roll:

You made Four mistakes:

1) You posted an ad on a feedback/general forum,
2) You again posted an ad on a feedback forum after you were advised not to,
3) you shipped a guy a mismatched set of pistons, omitted gaskets, and sent a junk flex plate and it took you an excessive amount of time,
4) you have a post to a guy I think it was boatman where you admitted it took a month to ship.

So you are right, one mistake is forgiven, two mistakes are forgiven, three mistakes start to get guys to scratch their heads, four mistakes equals a pattern of behavior.

You dont want to be classified as a scammer but yet there are a few things that prove that you are a scammer in my opinion.

1) You sent mismatched pistons to someone in trade for a converter. You try to make it right by sending back the converter and telling him to keep the pistons. You ship the converter with fluid still in it and it get returned to you. So instead of making sure it was drained of all fluid and shipping it back you either sold it or traded it for another one.

2) So you say he can pick anything you have and he picks the radiator. So instead of shipping it to him as soon as you can you wait. Then all of a sudden you have car trouble and trade the radiator for a carb that your son had. Oh and when you did that the radiator was already spoken for too.


So I dont know where you come off by saying that you are an honest man. I have a really hard time believing that myself.

Listen blownalky the radiator was my sons the first place.he bought it from summit new for his truck and he traded his truck for a camaro so he didnt need the radiator..So i done some trading with him on some stuff for the radiator..so i had it..well about a week or so my car messed up and robert my son had a carb and i had to have a carb so i traded the radiator back to him for the carb..And now he has it and for me to get it back he wants 100.00 for it and i told him i need it and will he sell it to me and he said yes..So ill be giving him 100.00 for it back..So instead of me buying it right now i thought i would offer mud 100.00 or the radiator for the deal..So i called him and i left a message to get with me on it so ill kow what he want to do..the money or the radiator..So if he wants the money instead of the radiator then ill send him 100.00 and i want buy the radiator back..but if he wants the radiator then ill buy it and send the radiator out tomorrow..But thats the story about the radiator.

yes but look on that ..my son and nephew comes over here and get on my computer on there names and it shows up the ip address from different names..all the names i have is 2 and thats littlehotrod and bad2bone..it was iracechevys but i changed the name to bad2bone..so really all i have is 2..My son and nephew been on my computer and there names shows up on my IP Address..If u dont believe me ask James he will tell you..But yall think i have all them names but they are not mine..all i got like i said is 2 and thats it..

Guys, I have to say I agree with James. I talked to James about a month ago(another thread), seems very straight forward to me. He has all the "stuff" we talk about a good/honest seller has i.e. honor payments, phone number, etc. I haven't seen where James or his son Anthony scammed anyone at all, nor do I believe they did.
Anthony got involved by trying to help Jason, aka (littlehotrod) because Jason was getting his ass kicked in the forum for being a scammer. Then James became involved after I called him to alert him to what was going on if he didn't know...........He was no doubt, in my mind, clueless to what was happening. Told me Anthony would not be posting again, asked to let him know if he does....I have not seen a single post that I thought might be Anthony......Lends to his credibility as blownalky3 said. It IS ok for Anthony to surf, just stay out of trouble......The kid messed up letting himself be led by doofus and James is taking it seriously, imo. well the reason why i told him to send it over night is because i had other people wanting it and if he wanted to buy it then he needed to send it over night so it would be his..But i do not send anything out until payment clears..cause i had a bad deal on a laptop for 1,500 and the guy that bought it from me 5 years ago he sent me a money order and i cashed it and as soon as i cashed it the next day i shipped it..well about 8 days later i had to pay the 1,500 back and i lost a 1,500 laptop..That learned me not to send anything untill payment clears..thats the way i work now since that happened to me..But i sent the cam out Saturday morning..So its on its way to him..
