2000 and newer 8.1 liter 496 need some info please

I am debating on pulling a 8.1 liter vortec 496, computer and all electronics, fuel injection, the whole thing, for my project. Can anybody tell me if the internals of the 2000 and newer 8.1 is cast, hypertectic, or forged? The 6.0 in my 2500 will jump and run, was goin to go with a 6.0 until I found the 8.1. I have already done research on the 8.1, but cannot find anywhere what the bottom end as far as cast, forged, etc. Please help!

I READ AN ARTICLE ABOUT THIS MOTOR IN CHEVY HI PERFORMANCE A COUPLE MONTHS AGO IN FORUMS. I WILL TRY TO FIND IT LATER AND POST GREATER DETAIL LATER. BUT WHAT THEY WERE SAYING IS THAT THERE IS A VERY LIMITED AMOUNT OF PERFORMANCE PARTS MADE FOR THIS MOTOR DUE TO THE DIRECTION THAT #7 INTAKE RUNNER HEADS .
