I was called in to work yesterday to plow snow on I-80 and was expecting a few more flurries, but to my amazement,we got a total of 8 inches of snow. I worked till 10 pm and it was still snowing pretty well. The people in cars just wouldn't slow down and we had over 30 slide-off and guiderail bangs and even 1 dandy wreck. Luckily he will make it,but it was one of the wrecks that if he had his seatbelt off,he'd have been way better off. The roof pinned his head to the seatback and he had to be cut out of the car.I was so wiped out from plowing,I couldn't sleep hardly at all when I got home..Gotta love that double time plowing though. Now its supposed to rain and mostly be melted by Turkey day..

To bad your not here Brian, you could see it falling all day long.

Normal commute time was increased by 45 minutes today.

We may get a cpl inches here in the valley but a foot in the mountains...yes our snowplows will be out in force.

Hopefully it will not be a repeat of last years 1st snow with 150+ slide offs.

We had 76 her also yesterday Brian, slept with the windows open last night. Of course it is going to cool down for the weekend though, we were going to a thanksgiving race Sat. but it is supposed to be 43 for a high. Think I'll keep the car in the garage and sleep off all of the turkey.
