Say, in theory, there's a good sized chunk of asphalt (not concrete) nearby that a guy would like to give some traction, and there won't be a ton of traffic messing with any prep work.

Is it as easy as purchasing some vht track bite and a weed sprayer? I've heard mention that pouring root beer around works too.. :D
How far does a gallon jug of trackbite go, and does it need diluted?

Thanks for any help.

all u need is some VHT .. on the vht less is more method works best ..if u get to much on the ground and cant burn it off then its just like water.. best if u have a car u can do burnouts with as well..pour u a small puddle out in front of the back tires and do a burn out threw it then back up and do one right next to it overlap just a lil then do a nother on the other side.. makes a nice rubber launch pad..if your not going to race right that second then go over your marks with a sprayer if u want and light on fire or let dry .. u can also light the VHT on fire if u have to much and cant burn it in the ground... if u plan on racing right then and there i just do the puddle and burnouts then race right after.. not that ive ever done anything of the like ...lol pm me if u need any more info u can also use rosin aka gold dust

VHT is not the cure all for track prep and most times
it does more harm than good -

buy some velcro :P
