It can be street driven as it is tagged historic, and you can keep enough alcohol in it,but I don't drive it hardly any on the street unless I take it to car shows.

Badass car man, what trany are you running?I use a stock case powerglide with a 1.76 first gear,I took it to the track 2 weeks ago with my fresh all aluminum 400 blown alcohol motor and got about half track and got the fireball up the windshield and it quit, well it leaned out and torched the head gasket along with my head and new block, but in a good way it still went 5.50 @ 114 mph after it quit half track,so I think it was on its 4 second pass like I have been trying to get for a long time, yea that is the 1/8 mile, working on getting it fixed before the tracks close.

knova70;;;that is one sweet nova you have there..do you know why it did what it did to engine and what caused it?why i'm asking is i'm building a 540bbc/blown and alky injection also and hoping this won't happen to me.thought if you found the reason you had the fireball then maybe i can pervent mine from doing it.
YOU HAVE ONE SWEET NOVA
GREAT JOB

The picture is of my old motor, the new aluminum one now is a smaller CID,I used sorta the same tune up on the new motor as the old one and all I can find out is that it leaned out going down the track,I took the whole fuel system and the injection apart and found nothing clogged,So I guess I just tuned it to lean, just make sure your tune up is rich when you make that first run,I should have made a 60ft shot before making the whole 1/8,but we all get excited and hold it to the floor! :D
