This dragster was originally built in Mike Spitzer's shop in 1997 and raced sparingly. It is a 242" wheelbase that was backhalved by Harry Clack with the narrow rear track (note picture). It was also updated by Pro-Start on the front half a couple of years ago. It is powered by a 291 CID Chevy short deck Aurora block with 10 degree CFE Heads, that were new in 2007, we replaced the Titanium valves, Titanium retainers, Titanium keepers for 2008, an HRE Intake that was also new at the end of 2007. It has BME pistons, with a Patterson ring package, Cassidium coated wrist pins, Jesel lifters and rockers all new in 2007, new GRP rods in 2008, a BRE 750 CFM carburetor revamped for 2008, Gebler Stainless headers, Jesel belt drive camshaft and distributor, Star vacuum pump, Charlie's Oil Pan, Coan 7" convertor, 3 speed Pro-Flite transmission with a Precision Air Shifter, Strange 9", Mark Williams axles, Lamb Carbon Fiber brakes, Goodyear tires on all four corners (slicks new in 2008), Weld wheels, MSD digital ignition & coil, Race-Pak V300 with all the normal channels plus 2 NGK oxygen sensors, carbon fiber dash, seat, and air scoop, Stroud belts (new in 2008) and chute.

We improved the horsepower dramatically for 2008 over 2007. This combination has a lot more potential and will run faster do to the horsepower gain since it runs a lot more RPM now.

Do not hesitate to ask questions about the car. It is fun to drive and very competitive, but do to my changing personal situation, I have to sell it.
