Trucks and cars powered by a compression-ignition or "diesel" engine. This type of engine is highly efficient two-stroke or four-stroke which function by igniting fuel that has been injected into the combusion chamber reaches a peak temperature. It does not use a spark plug, instead using highly compressed hot air. They burn less fuel than a gas engine, and accept superchargers and turbochargers with relative ease.
