This car was built in 2013 by the famous Bob Ball of Exton PA. I am the third owner. Car is VERY well known in the SVRA and VRG racing community. Multiple podium winner and a truly one of a king no expense spare build. By far one of the prettiest cars in the paddock and a fan favorite. Pig cheek front fenders and Alpina rear fenders. Front Alpina spoiler. Finished in amazing PPG Brite Blue.
Engine: built in 2018 with minimal use. 10.3:1 Mahle pistons (stock 121 type). New rockers. Stock head needed no repairs. 121 head with 46mm intakes. Baffled oil pan. Custom modified valve cover to prevent oil slosh. Fresh bore. Polished crank. MLS gasket. 2.0L with billet 306 Ireland Engineering cam. Ireland Engineering headers that have been reinforced and cerakoted. Custom side exit exhaust with resonator. Twin 45mm DCOE carbs tuned to perfection. MSD ignition. Pertronix distributor. 320 single wire 45amp alternator. Dyno sheet from 2021 shows 131HP to the wheels. Motor runs strong and was built to last. Does not smoke or burn oil.
Trans: BRAND NEW Getrag 245 built by Korman Autoworks in Greensboro, NC. The best. These are impossible to find. Shifts butter smooth. Zero race hours. Brand new clutch, throw out bearing, master and slave. Alum flywheel was perfect. All receipts.
Differential: custom trick 4.44 from E36 318 into a E21 case. A bob Ball special. Hybrid axles 320 shaft and CV into a 2002 on other end.
Suspension: New Springs. Coil over setup in rear with Porsche shocks. Poly bushings all the way around. Sway bar. Simple and sweet.
Brakes: Wilwood all the way around with Wilwood pads. Stainless lines. Stopping power is second to none.
Wheels and tires: Rota RB 13x8 wheels. Toyo R88Rs. 225/45/13
Seats and belts: 2022 Schroth 6 point drivers belt. 2021 Sparco EVO XL seats
Comm: All new wiring and push to talk setup for Racing radios (2021). Everything included except radios. Also has in car comm for instructor and driver with speakers and mics.
Camera: Road Keeper system installed with front and rear camera. Works great! (2022)
Accessories: Cool suit system installed on rear floor. Just plug in shit and go. AEM digit oil temp and wideband. (2022). Custom heavy duty floor carpet. Braille lightweight battery. (2023). Custom tie down hooks welded and bottom of car is undercoated.
