Engine at Tom Tiganelli's shop in Michigan. Rebuild to 494 stroker, Eagle stroker crank, Eagle rods, diamond 13 to 1 pistons, same cam 600 lift, reduce heads, stage 3 2.02 chry max wedge, square block, check line bore, clevite bearings, do some grinding on the block, plus more. Reason for guy I purchased the car from lied to me (this dosen't happen), engine had TRW 11 to 1 slugs, (1/4 inch end gap), stock rods, and the bore was so tight that I can still use .030 pistons, other things to, like carbs 3705s just rebuilt, two jetting programs each carb way off. Found out why the car wouldn't break 12.02 with 5300 converter, good 727, 4.86 gear, 11.50 X29 1/2X15 tires, and full Calvert rear end suspension, which I added a lot of this stuff searching for a problem, basing the motor had 550 horsepower with dyno sheet. Buyer beware, been doing this over 50 years, guess I trusted the wrong guy.
