kingphat The buying of the track in Roswell sisn't go through, to many shady dealings going on. been very busy with work and working on the Pinto. My mom was also diagnosed with breast cancer but they have caught it early enough to get it treated quickly.

About Me -

Member for: 6 years, 4 months, 6 days

My name is Patrick Johnson and I live in Portales New Mexico and have been racing for about 11 years. the first car that I ever built was a 1982 Ford Mustang. It started out with a 302 and it was a street car. By 2004, I had rebuilt it with a 351w and a c-6 auto with a Ford 9". When I rolled the Mustang at the Town vs Town event, I still haven't worked all the bugs out of the drive train.
Then in 2006 I found this Pinto and built it to what you see in the picture. I am still working the bugs out and to date it has ran a best of 12.41 @ 109 with tire slippage. This year, Roger Kline and have been working on trying to get a racing facility built here in Portales. Right now we are working on the funding so we can get the land purchased and start construction.
I race at Hobbs Motorsports Park on labor day weekend and lost an engine. So now I am going to front half the Pinto and putting in a 500+ci big block Ford. It will be a lot of fun. I would like to find some sponsors for when I get the Pinto back together and stat racing again.
I am still working on funding for the racing facility so we can get it started. I would like to make contact with some other track owners.
If anybody ever wants to e-mail me, my e-mail addresses are kingphat_2000@yahoo.com, and kingphat@hotmail.com.
I am also on Facebook, TheFoat.com, RacingIn.com.

I have put the car on hold for now, My friend Roger Kline and I are working on buying the dragstrip in Roswell, N.M. Hopefully we should know definately around March 11 if we have it or not.
