About Me -

Member for: 9 years, 11 months, 23 days

11/11/08 The 2008 year was a very productive year for us at Pirate Racing. We started the year with the goal to win the Northern Pacific Division and finish in the top five at the National Championship (Runoffs). We started the year strong with wins in January at California Speedway and followed that up with winning at Thunderhill in March. After that, we struggled with the TKO600 transmissions that are spec'd for the Panoz cars (we have gone through 12 of them between two cars over the last 18 months). We took second at the Rose Cup in GT2 beating both Matt Crandall and Jim Walsh for the first time this year. We went into the runoffs with high hopes but were screwed by Pirreli (they changed tire size without notification). The competition at the runoffs was the best we faced to date and were proud to come back from qualifying 15th to getting up to 6th at one point..winning the Sunoco Hard Charger Award in GT2. We are very happy with the year and look forward to next year!

7/4/2007 I started racing in June with a Panoz. With the help of Matt Crandall at Gran Prix we have started from scratch to being competitive in our first year and we are looking forward to next season!
