Prostreet4Ever ...All this Barrett Jackson crap is ALL B. S... I take inconsideration a lot of things when i price my cars !!! What the vehicle cost, how much work & $$$$$ money went into it to build and what would it take to build it now...The main problem is ,most buyers want to pick up OUR cars for Nothing so they can make a huge profit.Sorry ,with me ...it ain't gonna work!!! Been around long enough to know whats going on,...Its NOT my first rodeo .I know what I got,I don't force you into buying it,...If you DON'T like the price ,..MOVE ON to the next...So don't try to blow smoke up my A** with all your theory's !

"Nice write up, I couldn't agree with you more. I have been to Barret Jackson and seen their cars then you see those on the street asking for the same money and there is NO comparison on the restorations. Liquid money is a good point. Age of the buyers is another point. For instance I only like cars from the late 60s to early 70s. 50s are pretty but I wouldn't want to own one.. Same goes for my vintage Barbie Dolls. With the internet you can find deals if you look long enough. I also agree that proper auto restoration is big bucks that better be a labor of love cause chances are you aint' gonna get that money back. Thats my rant. LD"

About Me -

Ok well i have raced since i was 14. Street raced until i graduated high school and a local guy opened up his shop and knowledge to me and started at the track. Last few years i haven't raced and quit building hot rods to spend more time with the kids. Al tho racing will always be my passion i found another kind of racing in pistol competitions in IDPA. My favorite gun has always been the 1911 since i saw my first Steven Segal movie as a kid. Now i build and customize 1911s and taught myself how to do this. 1911s are like a classic car, Designed several years ago and all steel. Building them is like building a car as well. Only limited to what your imagination and your wallet. I love racing, any classic car and the more power the better. Same with my guns. .45 acp is my caliber of choice because when i hit something i want as much knock down power as possible. I hope to build a pro street truck in the near future and want a 52 Chevy truck. That is what i learned to drive when i was a little kid and always been my favorite. I like em low as i can go. As far as my job i am a Pit Loader operator at a rock quarry. Thats about it.
