proracerone 2014 I finished 7th in Div. 3 IHRA T/S with the '37 and lowered the best et to 7.40 at MIR. The engine is now being freshened at Jensen Racing Technologies for 2015. My '63 now belongs to my sponsor and I completely rebuilt it from the powder coated chassis to new paint. Larry finished 10th in S/R in IHRA. the '63 took Editors Choice at the MIR Pro Am and the '37 won Best Appearing at the Michigan Pro Am. The '96 didn't do as well as last year but I did manage to lower the et to a best of 8.17. Hoping to get it repainted this winter and motor and trans freshened.

"News flash, I keep seeing your post bashing Racing Junk and not to defend it but ALL of the hot rod, classic and collector car sites are full of scammers!!!! If they last long enough it will eventually attract the scum bags!!!! Craigslist is one of the oldest and it is absolutely overran with scam artist of every description!!! Secondly the more modified and specialized a car is the harder it is to find that one right person that likes what you like!!!!! Case in point if your cars is out of the norm as far as the have always been hot colors, as in red, black, white and blue, the less the amount of people it will appeal to!!!! Thirdly look at your market, there are a lot of old timers that are looking more for something that is easy to get in and out of, is comfortable for longer than a few mile ride to the local cruise in, and isn't so highly modified that you can take it on a long trip if you want to. And lastly and the biggest factor as I see it is that very few have the $$$$ to drop $35000 or more in CASH on what is basically a fair weather toy especially after the disaster of 8 years of that USA and economy destroying TRAITOR obozo!!!! Before he entered office and the housing crash took place almost everyone was taking a line of credit against the equity in their house to buy one with and now the vast majority are lucky after the market adjustment to even break even, and when 125% loan to value mortgages were commonplace they leveraged their homes to the hilt to buy what in all honesty is a frivolous purchase!!!! So if you look at all of these factors and your car falls into more than a couple of them there is your answer!!!! Not to mention the days of getting premium money out of your toy is long gone and the only cars selling are the ones that the people who still have the disposable income to buy one are not turning lose of their hard earned $$$$ unless they feel like they are getting a steal!!!! So before you decide that it is the sites you have your car listed on is at fault, have a long hard look at the car your are trying to move and ask yourself if you would pay what you are asking for it if it was you in the market for one and it was your hard earned dollars leaving your pocket for it!!!! A lot of the sellers on here have Barrett Jackson and Mecum syndrome because they have watched hours on end of these circuses and decide that because something remotely similar on there sold for X amount of dollars so mine should too!!!! Anyone that has a long period of time working in the car sales market will quickly tell you that what these cars are selling for at these hobby destroying auctions has absolutely NOTHING to do with what their TRUE value is!!!! The vast majority of the buyers on there are over moneyed over ego'ed a#$holes that know absolutely NOTHING about the car market and are just trying to impress all the a#$holes they run around with by paying a stupid amount of money for a car!!!! Most don't realize that the people who buy and restore these cars lose their a#$es at these auctions because they knew going in that what it took to make this a no excuses 100 percent correctly restored car is a money losing proposition!!!! It cost vastly more than you will ever sell one for to end up with the end result!!!! That is my two cents worth and if you think you are going to list a car and immediately sell it of make a good trade think again!!!! The last one I sold and or trade took over 18 months to make a deal I was happy with!!!! If you want a quick sale or trade then get ready to dump the price to the absolute rock bottom and leave money on the table in the process!!!! It is currently a buyers market and unless you are willing to wait it out and find that one buyer then get ready to lose your a#$!!!! That is the only way you are going to move it quickly and if you made a bad trade and put too much money in your car that is NOT the potential buyers problem!!!! That has ZERO to do with what it is REALLY worth!!! Chock it up to a lesson learned!!!!!"
