Two tastes that taste great together — that’s the thought behind the new Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) and Performance Racing Industry (PRI) partnership that allows members of either organization to join the other with a discount and additional benefits.<\/p>\n

Announced at the 2024 PRI Show, the partnership is a natural fit between two groups that exist to support the grassroots racer (who is often spending that hard-earned cash getting to and driving on the track).<\/p>\n

According to the announcement: “SCCA members who join PRI as an individual member will receive a exclusive membership rate, with a portion of their PRI annual membership supporting the SCCA Scholarship Fund. Additionally, SCCA members will enjoy a 20% savings on business memberships to PRI. With their PRI membership, SCCA members will gain access to a variety of exclusive offers from PRI\u2019s membership partners.”<\/p>\n

\u201cThe partnership between PRI and SCCA is a natural one, especially considering that both organizations have the same goal of accelerating grassroots motorsports in the U.S.,\u201d said SCCA President and CEO Mike Cobb. \u201cThanks to this partnership, SCCA members will have access to PRI\u2019s resources, which includes not only discount programs and access to a broad array of potential supplier partners, but also to the latest industry news that is relevant to the hobby they hold so dear.\u201d<\/p>\n

SCCA is celebrating 70 years of supporting sports car and road course racing, sanctioning thousands of races and events each year while PRI exists to support the race and performance industry across all racing categories, from legislation to merchandising, business strategies, testing, publishing, education and of course, the PRI show.
