Four days after his high-speed crash at over 300 miles per hour, drag racing champion John Force has been moved from the trauma intensive care unit to the neuro intensive care unit. This move allows the medical team to concentrate on his head injury, which remains their primary concern.<\/p>\n
This development is a positive sign for his family, who have been by his side at the hospital throughout the week. The Force family is grateful for the exceptional care provided by the medical professionals and appreciates the outpouring of support from fans and the racing community.<\/p>\n
In light of the situation, Brittany Force, with the unanimous support of her family, team, and sponsors, has decided not to compete in this week’s Summit Racing Equipment Nationals in Norwalk, Ohio. She was scheduled to drive the Cornwell Tools Chevrolet Top Fuel dragster but will instead remain with her family to support her father.<\/p>\n
Austin Prock will take to the track this weekend, channeling the same courageous, fighting spirit that John Force has instilled in his teams over the years. The AAA Chevrolet Camaro SS team will proudly represent John Force Racing and its sponsors during the event.<\/p>\n
