Barrett-Jackson, known as The World\u2019s Greatest Collector Car Auctions, is set to auction a pair of high-powered Dodge Demons owned by WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg at the 2024 Scottsdale Auction, taking place from January 20 to 28 at WestWorld of Scottsdale. Goldberg and his son, Gage, will be behind the wheel of the 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 (Lot #1401) and the 2018 Dodge Demon (Lot 1401.1), driving them onto the Scottsdale Auction block on Saturday, January 27. The matching VIN muscle cars will be auctioned as a pair with No Reserve.<\/p>\n
Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson, expressed excitement about the auction, stating, \u201cThese are two incredible Dodge Demons that are not only limited-edition collectibles but have celebrity provenance. It\u2019s an honor to team up with Bill Goldberg and offer his incredible pair of Demons, which have matching VINs and were each limited to 3,300 production units worldwide. They\u2019re among the most powerful production vehicles on the road and offer a rare chance to own two vehicles representing the end of an era for Dodge\u2019s high-performance gas-powered muscle cars.\u201d<\/p>\n
The 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 (Lot #1401) boasts just nine actual miles and is one of only 3,300 produced, with 3,000 available for the U.S. market. It features a first-ever 1,000-plus-horsepower production HEMI engine, making it the first-ever eight-second factory muscle car based on a quarter-mile time.<\/p>\n
Bill Goldberg expressed his gratitude, stating, \u201cI am lucky enough to have these vehicles and to be able to provide an opportunity to offer them to another muscle car guy. And to do it with my son who has been coming to Barrett-Jackson with me since he was a baby, it puts a huge smile on my face. It\u2019s a dream come true.\u201d<\/p>\n
The 2018 Dodge Demon (Lot 1401.1) has ten actual miles and is one of 3,300 produced worldwide. Powered by an 808-horsepower supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi engine, it can accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 2.3 seconds.<\/p>\n
Steve Davis, president of Barrett-Jackson, highlighted the impressive performance of both vehicles, stating, \u201cBoth of these Dodge Demons have \u2018blow your mind\u2019 performance. With a 0-60 in 1.66 seconds, the 2023 Demon 170 is such a powerhouse that its stock version was banned by the NHRA. The 2018 version is just as impressive with its incredible 770 pound-feet of torque and 840 horsepower.\u201d<\/p>\n
