TUSK is a faithful tribute to the original, enhanced with extensive fabrication and carbon-fiber components, combined with a contemporary chassis, suspension, and the formidable Mopar Hellephant crate engine, boasting an astonishing 1,000 horsepower.

Limited to just 100 units, the rare and highly sought-after Hellephant engine not only provides the Charger with its incredible power but also serves as the inspiration for the car’s name. This supercharged 426ci (7.0-liter) V8 engine generates a staggering 950 ft-lbs of torque, delivering power to the rear wheels through a Bowler TREMEC T-56 Magnum six-speed manual transmission and a custom carbon-fiber driveshaft by QA1 REV Series, mated to a Strange Engineering Ford 9-inch rear end. The all-aluminum Hemi engine is nestled beneath a custom two-piece carbon-fiber hood featuring billet machined hood scoop grilles and is strategically placed 2.5 inches farther back against a custom-built firewall to optimize weight distribution.

Every element of TUSK has undergone a unique transformation by the skilled craftsmen at Ringbrothers. The Charger’s iconic front end showcases a one-piece exposed carbon-fiber surround, accented with a single piece of billet machined chrome trim that highlights the distinctive “blind-eye” grille. The front valance and chin spoiler are one-of-a-kind pieces designed in-house by Ringbrothers, and both the front and rear bumpers have been subtly tucked and narrowed to enhance the Charger’s imposing presence. Other personalized touches include the elimination of windshield cowl vents, reshaped and extended rear quarter end caps, new door skins, extended and lowered rocker panels, a one-off belly pan, lower rear valance, and custom driveline tunnel and floors.

Jim Ring, co-owner of Ringbrothers, expressed, “The Charger’s ‘coke-bottle’ body is the perfect canvas to push the limits of what we can do and showcase our in-house talent and capabilities. TUSK took over 5,000 hours to complete and is a radical reimagining of the classic Charger, blending the aesthetics of a 20th-century icon with the renowned build quality and distinctive Ringbrothers touch.”

The exterior finish, provided by BASF Glasurit’s “Black to the Future,” accentuates the Charger’s sleek fenders and muscular proportions, while contrasting gold accents add a menacing edge to its appearance. This menacing look is not just for show; the front wheels have been brought forward two inches to extend the wheelbase and improve handling. A custom Roadster Shop FAST TRACK chassis contributes to dynamic performance, featuring Fox RS SV coilovers on all four corners and formidable stopping power thanks to Baer Brakes Extreme 6S six-piston calipers. To effectively manage brake heat, machined billet side vents are integrated into the front fenders, and the Charger rides on Ringbrothers’ “TUSK” Edition HRE Wheels fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.

The same level of precision extends to the interior, where modern comforts and conveniences are seamlessly integrated. A custom leather interior with a carbon-fiber console takes center stage, complete with a custom carbon-fiber “pistol grip” shifter, paying homage to Mopar’s heritage. Upholstery Unlimited crafted the bespoke interior, which also includes a Gentex rearview mirror, Dakota Digital gauges, and a Vintage Air Gen IV climate-control system.

Mike Ring, co-owner of Ringbrothers, emphasized, “Performance and design guided this project. It truly demonstrates what can be achieved when cutting-edge techniques work in harmony with meticulous attention to detail and creative vision. The second-gen Charger epitomizes American muscle car styling and performance, and that’s exactly what we aimed to capture with this build. Of course, we owe a debt of gratitude to our partners such as HRE Wheels, BASF, Miller Welding, and others for their unwavering support throughout the journey.”

Click Here to Begin Slideshow","itemprop":"image"},{"src":"https://www.racingjunk.com/news/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/Ringbrothers_CenterScene_Tusk-11-min-scaled.jpg","id":"93101","title":"Ringbrothers Unveils the “TUSK”
