Various members of the race community, including Antron Brown and Richard Petty, testified in from of congress in support of racing, and more than 1.5 million letters from the grassroots race community should the importance of advocacy. Much of this effort, presumably, has been driven by PRI and by PRI&#8217;s new membership opportunities that allows individual members to be part of the advocacy PAC.<\/p>\n<p>SEMA and PRI called out the RPM Act\u2019s lead sponsors &#8212; the Senate Environment &amp; Public Works (EPW) Committee, and the House Energy &amp; Commerce Committee &#8212; for their support.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We wouldn\u2019t have made it this far without this incredible effort by so many of our members,\u201d said SEMA President and CEO Mike Spagnola. \u201cThe RPM Act was one of the most bipartisan bills in the 117th Congress with over 165 lawmakers cosponsoring the legislation.
