At SEMA 2022, Gateway Bronco unveiled new customization technology, and a fully customized resto mod that’s earning money for veterans transitioning into civilian life.<\/h2>\n

For special operations military personnel, the transition from armed services member to civilian can be quite a challenge. Those individuals are used to high risk, high stakes situations and when they’re ready to take a step away from the military, the Special Operatives Transition Foundation<\/a><\/strong> (SOTF) is there to help them with a 12-18 month program consisting of mentorship, executive coaching, leadership training, networking and more. And Gateway Bronco wants to support those efforts by providing a customized Bronco to a lucky sweepstakes winner<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The 1968 Bronco that Gateway built for the SOTF prize is a direct result of new technology that Gateway is adopting to assist its potential customers in getting exactly the resto mod they’re looking for, a technology the company unveiled at SEMA 2022. The 3C Configurator, which is based on video game technology, is “the world\u2019s first 3D online tool for customizing classic Ford Broncos and trucks” according to Gateway, and the ’68 Bronco was used to develop the technology.<\/p>\n

The Bronco itself represents a complete frame-off restoration, including barnwood beds, a signature of a Gateway build. The 10-speed automatic transmission is connected to a Coyote 5.0L V8 engine with ROUSH Performance supercharger featuring Eaton\u2019s TVS technology. The matte-blue exterior also houses a distressed Italian leather interior, Wilwood 4-Wheel Disc Brakes, and a brand new suspension. It’s a cool, clean classic: Ralph Lauren by way of Captain America or vice versa. Regardless, it’s a perfect tribute for an organization dedicated to helping the armed forces.<\/p>\n
