As if the excitement at the Las Vegas Speedway weren’t heightened enough this weekend with only two races remaining in the 2014 NHRA Mello Yello Series, John Force Racing took the opportunity to announce the primary sponsor for the 2015 season at a Saturday afternoon press conference. \u00a0Speculation has been rampant about who would take over the JFR sponsorship as the agreement with Castrol comes to an end, and now there’s an answer. \u00a0PEAK Antifreeze + Coolant<\/a> and BlueDEF<\/a> brands will serve as primary sponsor of John Force’s Funny Car for the 2015 season and beyond, and continue as a major associate sponsor on Robert Hight, Courtney Force, and Brittany Force’s cars.<\/p>\n

PEAK has been associated with JFR since February of this year, and the partnership seems to be working for both sides of the equation. \u00a0At the Saturday press conference, Force stood proudly by the newly liveried Funny Car. \u00a0The 16-time \u00a0NHRA champ seems in no hurry to step aside and let the younger generation have all the fun.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m committed to continuing to lead a championship team and PEAK has proven a similar commitment to the NHRA. Thanks to PEAK Antifreeze + Coolant, I won\u2019t be hanging up my hat from this sport anytime soon,\u201d said Force.<\/p>\n

PEAK is also no stranger to pro drag racing.\u00a0In 2013, PEAK entered into a multi-year agreement with the NHRA, naming PEAK Antifreeze, BlueDEF Diesel Exhaust Fluid, and HERCULINER\u00ae<\/sup> truck bed liner kits as official sponsors of the NHRA.<\/p>\n
