The new Ford Bronco has proved to live up to the hype earning a three-peat in the Rebelle Rally\u2019s X-Cross class. Ford\u2019s outdoor brand of only-4×4 vehicles has been a favorite amongst pros and novices alike.<\/p>\n

Earning the three-peat win across the seven-day rally was Melissa Clark, a Bronco Off-Roadeo Moab Trail Guide and 2021 X-Cross winner, and partner Chris Benzie, a veteran Rebelle Rally navigator and semi-retired aerospace engineering executive. The Bronco Sport Badlands duo lead five out of seven rally days in the X-Cross class, which features two-wheel or all-wheel drive vehicles.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re proud of all the Bronco teams competing in this year\u2019s Rebelle Rally as these ladies exemplify how each Bronco SUV is designed from the factory to elevate all skill levels of off-roader confidently through the most extreme environments,\u201d said Dave Bozeman, vice president, Ford Customer Service Division, and vice president, Enthusiast Vehicles, Ford Blue. \u201cWe congratulate all of the Bronco teams, including Melissa Clark and Chris Benzie who gave Bronco Sport a never-been-done three-peat win in the X-Cross Class.\u201d<\/p>\n

Off-road legend JEEP is no slouch either, especially with Nena Barlow and Teralin Petereit piloting their Jeep Wrangler Rubicon.<\/p>\n

“If I could choose any vehicle currently made on the planet to compete in the rally, it would be the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon 4xe,” said\u00a0Nena Barlow<\/span>\u00a0of the winning Team 4xEventure. “Again, range, power, capability, durability \u2014 there is nothing better out there for traversing 1,440 miles of Rocky Mountain trails, rough desert tracks and huge sand dunes. This was the toughest year yet. But we never had to worry about the Jeep’s readiness. Not a rattle, squeak or loose anything after the rally. The only maintenance I did was clean the air filter.”<\/p>\n
