With 2019 Rookie of the Year Austin Prock coming back to the Top Fuel wars after the COVID-19 pandemic shut down his program for two years, the third-generation drag racer has the opportunity to showcase his talents once again.<\/p>\n<p>The two entities that sponsored Prock in his rookie, award- and race-winning season return to the 22-race campaign as primary partners on Prock\u2019s dragster: Montana Brand and Rocky Mountain Twist are owned by Frank Tiegs. Montana Brand, manufactured by Rocky Mountain Twist, was founded in 2001 and is made at the firm\u2019s Ronan, Montana location. Earlier this week, both Flav-R-Pac and Monster Energy renewed their affiliation with Brittany Force for a multi-year sponsorship extension. The two entities split time on Force\u2019s rail, which achieved 12 No. 1 qualifying positions, five final round appearances and runner-up status to four-time consecutive champion Steve Torrence last year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA nitromethane-burning car putting out 10,000 horsepower, going over 330 mph in less than 3.5 seconds, and trying as hard as possible to destroy itself? Sounds like Monster Energy,\u201d said Mitch Covington, VP of sports marketing for Monster. \u201cWe believe in our championship driver and we will always continue to support her and the team,\u201d he said. \u201cPartnering with this team has been a great decision and we are excited for what the future holds,\u201d added Tiegs.<\/p>\n<p>While Monster Energy and Flav-R-Pac are exclusive to Force\u2019s rail in this year\u2019s challenge for the Camping World Top Fuel title, Montana Brand and Rocky Mountain Twist will continue to be featured on all four cars in the John Force Racing camp while being the primary on Prock\u2019s dragster. John Force, the 16-time Funny Cr champion, Robert Hight, a three-time Funny Car titleholder and Brittany Force will all have signage from the Montana-based brands.<\/p>\n<p>All John Force Racing entries will be taking part in the PRO Nitro Spring Training February 10-12 on the Wild Horse Motorsports Park drag strip, in anticipation of the season starter, the Lucas Oil NHRA Winternationals presented by protecttheharvest.com, slated for February 16-18 on the Auto Club Raceway at Pomona race track.
