ROUSH\u00ae Performance adds some attitude to a\u00a0freshly redesigned Ford Mustang. Built on the Blue Oval\u2019s 6th generation Detroit icon,\u00a0ROUSH performance is excited to debut its aggressive new 2015 lineup. \u201cWe have\u00a0taken a different approach to our new Stage lineup.\u201d states Jay Velthoven, Director of\u00a0Marketing at ROUSH Performance. \u201dThe 2015 RS will be built on the Mustang\u2019s V6\u00a0platform, the Stage 1 will feature the new turbo-charged Ford 2.3L Eco-Boost motor,\u00a0and the Stage 2 will showcase a naturally aspirated 5.0L V8.\u201d<\/p>\n

All of the 2015 ROUSH Mustangs receive the \u201cR7\u201d (7th generation) aero-body package\u00a0giving this pony some major attitude. The face of the \u201cR7\u2033 aero-body package features a\u00a0fully remodeled ROUSH fascia with integrated aero-pockets, a five-blade upper grille,\u00a0high-flow lower grille with driving lamps, and a front chin splitter. \u201cWe worked closely\u00a0with our race teams aero specialists as we modeled our new body components.\u201d says\u00a0Mark Trostle, Lead Designer for ROUSH. \u201cIt\u2019s instantly noticed on the rear with the raceinspired\u00a0lower aero-valance and a new one piece decklid spoiler. We also tied the whole\u00a0aero package together with a set of side rocker canards.\u201d<\/p>\n

Along with the aggressive new look, the Stage 1 and Stage 2 get the new ROUSH\u00a0quad-tip performance exhaust system. \u201cThe new quad-tip exhaust is a modular design\u00a0that is set to accept future upgrades.\u201d Says Erin Dmytrow, Engineering Director for\u00a0ROUSH Performance. \u201cWe are working on some exciting features that will be available
\nlater this year.\u201d<\/p>\n

The ROUSH Mustangs also gets a handling boost thanks to the optional suspension\u00a0setups and new Quicksilver 20-inch ROUSH wheels \u2013 wrapped in the ROUSH\/Cooper\u00a0(co-developed) RS3-S ultra high-performance tire.\u00a0Inside the cabin, every ROUSH Mustangs will receive ROUSH embroidered floor mats\u00a0and a serialized ROUSH dash badge. Optional ROUSH gauge cluster and leather\u00a0seating upgrades are available for both the standard seat and the upgraded RECARO\u00a0seats.<\/p>\n

Additionally, the ROUSH Stage Mustangs have several exterior and interior options\u00a0available including side quarter window scoops, body side scoop, hood scoop and\u00a0more.<\/p>\n

All 2015 ROUSH \u201cStage\u201d Mustangs will first be available in manual coupes with\u00a0convertible chassis and automatic transmissions to follow at a later date. They are also\u00a0all 50-state legal and covered by ROUSH\u2019s 3-year\/36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper\u00a0warranty. The 2015 ROUSH Mustangs are expected to start showing up on dealer lots\u00a0by mid October 2014.<\/p>\n
