The \u00a06.2-liter, supercharged LT5 has been pulled from Chevrolet Performance&#8217;s website, so the question stands, what will replace it?<\/p>\n<p>The supercharged LT5 has only been in production a few years, so it is unclear why GM decided to pull the plug on the motor. The motor was a rare one comparatively, with only 3,000 examples of the 2019 Corvette ZR1 produced, the supercharged LT5 was for people who wanted to stand out from the sea of LS&#8217;s, albeit a much steeper price tag, $20,000 to be exact.<\/p>\n<p>With the 6.2L LT5 V8 engine\u2019s removal, the king of the\u00a0 Chevrolet Performance crate engines is now<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>the 6.2.L LT4 V8, which produces 650 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque.
