Lucas fought the car the entire way down the track, even after dropping some cylinders, and crossed the finish line just as his engine finally gave up.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt got out there and the car kind of broke the tires loose,\u201d Lucas said. \u201cI saw Doug poke out but I knew he was having problems, so I kind of blipped it to straighten it out. I got it cracked a little bit open, and I rolled it back down all the way and got it out there.
