The SEMA Action Network (SAN)\u00a0<span style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\">announced that the next\u00a0<\/span>Collector Car Appreciation Day (CCAD) will be officially recognized on July 10, 2020.\u00a0 The date marks the eleventh consecutive commemoration in what is now an annual holiday to raise awareness of the vital role automotive restoration and collection plays in American society.<\/span><br style=\"box-sizing: border-box; color: #333333; font-family: 'Open Sans', sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\" \/><br style=\"box-sizing: border-box; color: #333333; font-family: 'Open Sans', sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\" \/><span style=\"color: #333333; font-family: 'Open Sans', sans-serif;\">U.S. Congress has helped launch CCAD by introducing resolutions each year at the SAN\u2019s request.\u00a0 This year, the U.S. Senate passed Senate Resolution 650 (<\/span><a style=\"box-sizing: border-box; color: #00598a; text-decoration-line: none; font-family: 'Open Sans', sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\" href=\"http:\/\/semasan.com\/files\/pdf\/ccad_s_res_650.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">S. Res. 650<\/a><span style=\"color: #333333; font-family: 'Open Sans', sans-serif;\">) and a similar resolution was also introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives (<\/span><a style=\"box-sizing: border-box; color: #00598a; text-decoration-line: none; font-family: 'Open Sans', sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\" href=\"http:\/\/semasan.com\/files\/pdf\/ccad_h_res_998.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">H. Res. 998<\/a><span style=\"color: #333333; font-family: 'Open Sans', sans-serif;\">).\u00a0 Each resolution was sponsored by co-chairs of the SEMA-supported\u00a0<\/span><a style=\"box-sizing: border-box; color: #00598a; text-decoration-line: none; font-family: 'Open Sans', sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\" href=\"http:\/\/semasan.com\/federal-legislators-who-support-hobby\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Congressional Automotive Performance and Motorsports Caucus<\/a><span style=\"color: #333333; font-family: 'Open Sans', sans-serif;\">.\u00a0 These Congressional leaders have been strong advocates for the automotive hobby in Washington, D.C., and recognize the integral role collector cars have played in fostering our nation\u2019s appreciation for the automobile\u2019s unique historical place in our history and is i<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #333333; font-family: 'Open Sans', sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">ntended to celebrate the classics of the past and the future.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>How will you celebrate national Collector Car Appreciation Day (CCAD) this July?
