It&#8217;s a race put on by racers for racers. With Oklahoma&#8217;s stay at home order lifted the Throw Down in T-Town will be happening, and having many fans ecstatic.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/siVZENJJIAE\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Tulsa Raceway park put out this statement regarding the race:<\/p>\n<p>The MWPMS had to cancel one event and postpone the first event for the year due to the COVID-19 virus, with that being said we know by all the posts online that our RACERS are READY FOR ACTION!<\/p>\n<p>The fastest door-slammers in the world will be racing at the Throw Down, which will feature Mid-West Pro Mod Series. Both MWPMS &amp; Slammer categories will feature 16 car fields&#8230;with as much as $10,000 to win! MWPMS added in 2019 these NEW Classes &#8220;Top Sportsman &amp; Top Dragster which these guys and gals are all fighting to win a Championship! MWPMS also just add a championship points series for Jr&#8217;s for the 2020 season. Tulsa will also feature the all popular classes Pro-Street, Outlaw Gassers, Jr Pro1, Jr Pro2 and added for this race Super Pro, 6.0 Index and foot brake classes.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Throw Down in T-Town has become one of the largest races in the country,&#8221; track co-owner Keith Haney said. &#8220;We had over 160 race cars in October 2019. It&#8217;s a FREE event for the customer, and we had 20,000 fans in the stands for the weekend in October 2019.
