And just for fun, they slapped on street legal drag radials and achieved an ET of 10.8 seconds at 126 mph.<\/p>\n<p>Dodge wasn&#8217;t joking around when they said they had built the &#8220;fastest muscle car ever.&#8221; The Shelby GT500 runs an 11.6 second quarter mile, the Camaro ZL1 a 12.1 and the SRT Viper does it in 11.7 seconds.<\/p>\n<p>Now the only number that&#8217;s missing from the picture is the retail price. Will the SRT Hellcat be the most powerful, fastest and most affordable muscle car?
