The new movie “Ford v Ferrari” highlights the collaboration between Carroll Shelby and driver Ken Miles to create an American vehicle that can rival Ferrari’s dominance in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. For race fans, it’s always fun to see the history of any part of the sport on the big screen – but more excitingly, it has encouraged the release of real information about the build and those involved.<\/p>\n

The Petersen Automotive Museum is featuring a short documentary film by Kahn Media about the historical context of this collaboration. Titled \u201c8 Meters,\u201d the film focuses on race car driver Ken Miles and Ford\u2019s historic 1-2-3 victory at the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans.
