Kyle Busch went into Sunday\u2019s Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series O\u2019Reilly Auto Parts 500 at <\/span><\/span>Texas Motor Speedway<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/u><\/span> looking for another weekend sweep after winning the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series Vankor 350 and then the My Bariatric Solutions 350 in the XFINITY Series on Sunday. Denny Hamlin put together a strong performance on Sunday to put Rowdy\u2019s sweep thoughts to bed in Sunday\u2019s Monster Energy Cup race.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Kyle Busch<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/u><\/span> didn\u2019t need to worry much during Friday\u2019s NASCAR Gander Outdoors Vankor 350 at Texas. Grant Enfinger won the First Stage and never really looked back after winning the Second Stage. <\/span><\/span>Stewart Friesen<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/u><\/span> drove his <\/span><\/span>Halmar Friesen Number<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/u><\/span> 52 to second place and <\/span><\/span>Johnny Sauter<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/u><\/span> took third in his <\/span><\/span>ThorSport Racing<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/u><\/span> Number 13. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Talk of another weekend sweeps of trucks, XFINITY and Cup were rampant after Kyle Busch won the XFINITY Series My Bariatric Solutions 350 on Saturday. Christopher Bell won the First Stage and Ryan Sieg took the Second. Busch had an excellent restart after a late-race caution and held off second place <\/span><\/span>Tyler Reddick<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/u><\/span>\u2019s <\/span><\/span>Richard Childress Racing<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/u><\/span> Number 2 and <\/span><\/span>JGR<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/u><\/span> teammate <\/span><\/span>Christopher Bell<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/u><\/span> in the Number 20 who came in third. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Denny Hamlin<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/u><\/span> didn\u2019t look very good in Sunday\u2019s Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series O\u2019Reilly Auto Parts 500 until he won the Second Stage. Although he faded some around the midpoint of the final stage, he was able to rally for the win in his JGR Number 11. Joey Logano overcame pole sitter Jimmy Johnson to win the First Stage. <\/span><\/span>Stewart-Haas Racing<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/u><\/span>\u2019s <\/span><\/span>Clint Bowyer<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/u><\/span> drove his Number 14 to a strong second place finish and teammate <\/span><\/span>Daniel Suarez<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/u><\/span> drove his Number 41 to a season-best third place finish. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
