The NHRA announced the “Unfinished Business” competition as part of the\u00a050th annual Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals where 8 NHRA legends will duke it out. Perhaps the most intriguing thing about all of it is that the fans will get to decide who goes up against who.<\/p>\n

The lineup of competitors is absolutely legendary including \u201cBig Daddy\u201d Don Garlits, Shirley Muldowney, Don \u201cThe Snake\u201d Prudhomme, Joe Amato, Kenny Bernstein, Ed \u201cThe Ace\u201d McCulloch, Warren Johnson and Terry Vance. To top it all off, Florida native and NHRA fan favorite Darrell Gwynn will serve as the honorary starter for this prestigious group of competitors.<\/p>\n

“It’s going to be exciting to have our fans play a part in determining the bracket for Unfinished Business,” said NHRA president Glen Cromwell. “We are all excited to see these heroes of the sport to head to head and knowing that the fans are playing such an important role in the competition just adds to the anticipation.”<\/p>\n

Each legend will race in a custom Toyota Camry wrapped to emulate some of the drivers\u2019 favorite rides from the past.<\/p>\n

Fans will have from now until February 22 to vote, fans can visit www.nhra.com\/unfinishedbusiness to vote for the first-round matchups they want to see.<\/p>\n
