After a hard charging four days at a track that is sure to be one of his favorites, Brandon Sheppard and his Rocket1 Racing team made history by pulling off what many are calling \u201cthe unthinkable\u201d by earning victories in all four races during the 2019 DIRTcar Nationals Late Model championship week.<\/p>\n

The first driver to win four World of Outlaws races in a row since Tim Fuller accomplished the feat in 2009, Sheppard began his race week sweep at Volusia Speedway Park\u2019s 48th Annual DIRTcar Nationals by starting on the pole for Wednesday night\u2019s race and taking this to his first of four race victories. Following his first victory of the 2019 season, Sheppard would celebrate a very special Valentine\u2019s Day win after leading 39 of 50 laps for his first back-to-back victory of the weekend.<\/p>\n

With two more races to go, Brandon Sheppard put on yet another powerful display of motor and muscle Friday night after starting the race in the top five and racing to the lead within the first 10 laps. After, Sheppard didn\u2019t look back as he went on to win his third race of the weekend and fourth World of Outlaws race at Volusia, making this four in a row for the Rocket Chassis house car driver at The World\u2019s Fastest Half-Mile.<\/p>\n

Going into Saturday night\u2019s weekend finale race with a three-race high, this rocket fast driver was back to tackling the unthinkable. Just like the previous three nights, The Rocket Sheppard grabbed the lead early and once again never looked back even after the hard-charging 2018 DIRTcar Nationals Champion Chris Madden attempted to take this lead several times during the final laps of this final 50-Lap feature. Despite Madden wrapping up his race week with a runner-up finish, there seemed to be no other team that raced on the rails the way Sheppard and his Rocket Racing team did following his four-race sweep of all World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series events at Volusia Speedway Park.<\/p>\n

With these victories, Sheppard now holds a DIRTcar Nationals Late Model record as the only driver to win four races in a row in DIRTcar Nationals Late Model championship history.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is another accomplishment that we have added to the list as a team,\u201d said Sheppard. \u201cOur team is phenomenal, and they deserve every bit of successes like this.\u201d<\/p>\n
