This time the problem of accessory mounting is addressed, as is adding a newer transmission to an older car during a swap. Just introduced are the Holley Mid-Mount Race Accessory System and the Holley Premium Mid-Mount Race Accessory System. Belts line up, but the accessories are too high or wide and they don\u2019t fit in the engine bay. Available in black, brushed aluminum and chrome, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.holley.com\/products\/ls_power\/ls_and_lt_accessory_drives\/mid_mount\/race_accessory_drives\/\">Holley Mid-Mount Race Accessory Systems<\/a> come with everything you\u2019ll need to complete the installation ,including the alternator, bolts, belt, pulleys and, if you ordered them, the power steering pump and AC compressor. They even have power steering conversion adapters if required. These mid-mount systems are billet units with brackets and openings that allow you to install the alternator (and p\/s pump and A\/C compressor if so desired) inside the water pump housing, which is set up with a replaceable cartridge water pump, LS steam vent ports and bottom- and side-mounted heater hose ports. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.holley.com\/products\/drivetrain\/clutches\/throwout_bearings\/parts\/82-105\">Hays Hydraulic Release Bearing Kit for T-56 Transmission<\/a> allows you to install one of these new transmissions on your older vehicle. They are adjustable for pedal height and travel and are rated for use with single or dual disc clutches.
