After two days of media previews, it\\u2019s easy to see where the vehicle market is going.\\n\\nJeep rolled out its new Gladiator while Hyundai and BMW presented their large Palisade (seen above) and X7 large SUVs, respectively. Honda reintroduced the mid-size Passport SUV while Rover brought back the Discovery, making it the biggest offering from the brand. Elsewhere, Kia gave its boxy Soul a good refresh while it showed off an off-road equipped Telluride SUV.\\n\\nWhile the Wednesday media preview went from 7am\\u2019s Beetles and breakfast, with food trucks and a gathering of all-vintage VW Beetles, to Hyundai\\u2019s traditional late-day gathering at Hotel Figueroa, replete with entertainment from Alanis Morisette, the flog of walking from one display to another and trying to digest the latest offerings.\\n\\nBecause it was difficult to get close to hear what was being said, thanks to a single-day roster of 17 functions starting at 7am and concluding well past 5pm, this writer elected to do a photo display for coverage, along with a few news tidbits.
