This year, plenty of amazing events will occur from August 11-17 at Bonneville, and with luck, records will be broken along the way.<\/p>\n<p>Among those who will be present on the flats are the speed-loving folks at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/TheGarageShop1\/\">The Garage Shop<\/a>, who plan to cheer on the Jesel Land Speed team as they attempt to break their own previous record of 219 mph. In order to ensure that future speed enthusiasts will be able to race across the salt and set even more impressive records, the <a href=\"http:\/\/savethesalt.org\/\">Save the Salt Foundation<\/a> has made it their mission to preserve and restore this Utah landmark.<\/p>\n<p>Will you be watching Speedweek in person, or maybe even participating?
