Ford Motor Company will start production of their\u00a0F-150s at the Dearborn Truck Plant following a fire that occurred\u00a0earlier in the month. Ford has also repaired the supply chain for Super Duty, production is scheduled to restart Monday at the Kentucky Truck plant\u00a0as well as the Assembly Plant in Kansas City.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhile the situation remains extremely dynamic, our teams are focused on returning our plants to full production as fast as possible,\u201d said Joe Hinrichs, Ford president, Global Operations. \u201cThe rampup time to full production is improving every day.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ford along with their suppliers including Walbridge as well as other contractors worked day and night to get their number 1 selling vehicle back on track.<\/p>\n

\u201cFaced with unexpected adversity, the Ford team, including our global supply partners, showed unbelievable resiliency, turning a devastating event into a shining example of teamwork,\u201d said Hau Thai-Tang, Ford\u2019s executive vice president of Product Development and Purchasing. \u201cThanks to their heroic efforts, we are resuming production of some of our most important vehicles ahead of our original targets.\u201d<\/p>\n

Inventories of Ford\u2019s F-Series pickups and other vehicles remain plentiful so\u00a0 customers won\u2019t have any troubles finding the model they want.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
