Day 2 of SEMA 2017 was busier than ever. The show itself just keeps growing, as do the crowds. Without official numbers from SEMA, it’s hard to say for certain that it’s bigger, but the crowded aisles everywhere from the Racing and Performance area, to all the way FAAAAAR outside in the off-road pavilion suggest that the industry still has something for everyone.<\/p>\n

The big OEMs made their announcements Tuesday, so Wednesday was a day to really dig in and not just see new parts and products, but enjoy the builds that were unveiled here. That’s certainly what Goodguys does when it chooses the SEMA Gold Award winners. This award is a celebration of the latest trends in hot rodding, as well as excellence in craft and design for vehicles that would fall under the GG purview. And they certainly picked some amazing rides. Congratulations to the winners!<\/p>\n

In addition, the Battle of the Builders contest gets narrowed down to 12 finalists who will ultimately judge each other’s work on Friday night to name an Ultimate Builder for 2017. Congrats to the finalists!<\/p>\n
