Fast Friday is back at Texas Motorplex. The first of several Fast Friday street legal racing nights makes its annual debut Friday, March 21, 2014 with a special addition to please any racer and fan still shaking off the winter cold. Friday\u2019s RacingJunk.com Fast Friday will not only be open to anyone with a street legal vehicle wanting to race down the famous Texas Motorplex quarter-mile like a pro, but the event will have the 275 cars as well.<\/p>\n
Two 275 classes will be racing on Friday: Outlaw 275 and TeX275. Both are running for money, RacingJunk.com trophies and bragging rights on who starts the season quicker and faster with more cash in their pocket. Trophies will be given to the winner and runner-up in each category along with one special trophy for the Best Appearing Crew!<\/p>\n
Texas Motorplex is the ONLY quarter-mile track and best racing surface open to ANYONE in the entire DFW region. It\u2019s just $15 to race as many passes as your car and nerves can handle. Want to watch the action? That\u2019s just $10 and parking is FREE this weekend!<\/p>\n
Gates open at 6 p.m. and the lanes will be open for racing from 7 p.m. until Midnight. Fast Friday events will be a great opportunity for year-round racers to test-and-tune their cars before big events. But anyone with a driver\u2019s license and a legal vehicle can come out to see what it\u2019s like to race down one of the most historic drag strips in the country.<\/p>\n
