Despite leading 109 laps and winning both Stage 1 and 2 of this 200-lap race, Busch would still have to fight for the win as the laps wound down.

Forced to the back of the field after serving a pit road penalty to start the final stage of this race, Busch was able to utilize the high line to roar through the field and find himself back in the top 10 by lap 136. Nearly 30 laps later, Busch was chasing the coat tails of race leaders Johnny Sauter and Matt Crafton.

Taking second from Sauter on Lap 163, Busch moved back into the lead four laps later, slicing and dicing through lap traffic. When Austin Wayne Self and Justin Haley tangled with five laps, the final restart left the field one more attempt to swipe the lead away from Busch. Despite an attempt from Crafton, the now five-time Bristol Truck Series winner pulled away during the Lap 201 overtime lap to win his first race of the weekend.

Food City 300

<img loading="lazy" decoding="async" data-attachment-id="43069" data-permalink="https://www.racingjunk.com/news/busch-sweeps-at-nascar-bristol-race/nascar-xfinity-series-food-city-300-8/" data-orig-file="https://www.racingjunk.com/news/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/XFINITY-Victory-Lane.jpg" data-orig-size="1800,1163" data-comments-opened="1" data-image-meta="{"aperture":"5","credit":"Getty Images","camera":"Canon EOS-1D X","caption":"BRISTOL, TN - AUGUST 18: Kyle Busch, driver of the #18 NOS Rowdy Toyota, poses with the trophy after winning the NASCAR XFINITY Series Food City 300 at Bristol Motor Speedway on August 18, 2017 in Bristol, Tennessee.
