This coming weekend, some of the world’s biggest names in Pro Modified racing are driving to Osage Casino Tulsa Raceway Park for the PDRA Summer Drags, running at this famous raceway for the first time since 2015. The action will be divided among five pro categories, two semi-pro and two junior dragster categories. The Tulsa eight-mile will come alive with cars exceeding 220 miles per hour in just 660 feet in the fading evening light.<\/div>\n

The event kicks off with open testing on Thursday, August 10<\/span><\/span>. Admission for the full day of testing is a mere $5. Sportsman qualifying begins Friday<\/span><\/span> at 12:30, followed by<\/span><\/span> Professional qualifying at 3 and 8pm<\/span><\/span>. Final qualifying run Saturday<\/span><\/span> at 11am<\/span><\/span> (Sportsman) and 1pm<\/span><\/span> (Professional). Eliminations begin at 4pm<\/span><\/span> with Sportsman. Pros will race on into the night with eliminations beginning at 6pm<\/span><\/span>. Friday<\/span><\/span> and Saturday<\/span><\/span> tickets cost only $15 each. Kids 10 and under are free. Each ticket also serves as a pit pass, so every attendee can directly access the stars of the show. The biggest names in Pro Mod racing will be there, including local standouts such as Frankie Taylor, Todd Martin and Keith Haney.<\/p>\n

Since Osage Casino Tulsa Raceway Park is all about the fans, there will be activities for visitors of all interests and ages. For instance, the Fun Play kids center will be available for kids to burn off extra energy. TRP’s vendor row features food trucks, manufacturers and various vendors. This is the PDRA’s only stop within hundreds of miles, so don’t miss this chance to see the bad boys and girls of the 660!<\/p>\n
