Krista Baldwin is partnering with Strange Engineering to craft a campaign dubbed Strange Generations, or #STRANGEGEN. Baldwin and her grandfather Chris Karamesines, respectively piloting Anthony Dicero\u2019s Nitro University A\/Fuel Dragster and Karamesines’ own Top Fuel Dragster, will be featured in a special signage to join the #STRANGEGEN conversation at the Route 66 Nationals in Joliet, IL.<\/p>\n

Strange Generations is meant to promote those families who have passed on an enthusiasm for using Strange Engineering products down through multiple generations. Baldwin is an excellent spokeswoman for this, as she is a third generation drag racer influenced by both her late father, Bobby Baldwin, and by Karamesines to rely on Strange Engineering products for safety and top performance.<\/p>\n

\u201cBob Strange and my grandpa have been great friends since the 1960s,\u201d says Baldwin. \u201cIt only makes sense to continue our families\u2019 relationship into this new generation. This weekend I am proud to showcase the Strange name on my A\/fuel Dragster. I\u2019m excited to partner this new campaign with my grandpa. He\u2019s still my hero and I love that I get to share this with him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Strange invites customers to join the discussion and to share their own families’ experiences with Strange Engineering with the hashtag #STRANGEGEN on diverse social media platforms.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are very excited about introducing our Strange Generations program with Krista and continuing to do promotions and contests featuring all the Strange Generations into the future!\u201d Strange SM coordinator Crystal Bailey said.<\/p>\n

Weld Wheels will also join Baldwin’s program for the rest of the 2017 season. McLeod Racing, CP Carrillo, Clevite and Shelton\u2019s Poultry will continue their support as well. Beginning Friday morning at 11:45, Baldwin will begin qualifying, and she will participate in her first round of eliminations Sunday morning.<\/p>\n
