Dodge has been named title rights sponsor of the Maple Grove Raceway NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series event. The raceway, known as one of the fastest tracks on the NHRA circuit, has provided a stage for several national record-setting runs. It hosts the third race in the NHRA Countdown to the Championship.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

This sponsorship builds upon the preexisting alliance between Dodge and the NHRA. It parallels Mopar’s title rights sponsorship of the Mopar Mile-High NHRA Nationals, which are held yearly in Denver.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

“In recent years, successful Mopar race teams have campaigned Dodge-branded vehicles in the Funny Car and Pro Stock classes,” noted Tim Kuniskies, Head of Passenger Car Brands for FCA North America, “but now with the launch of the Mopar Dodge Challenger Drag Pak fielded by Joe Welch Racing in NHRA Factory Stock, Dodge and Mopar have taken their close collaboration to the next level.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The Mopar Mega Block Party free fan-admission event, which takes place at 4 on Thursday, Sept. 29 at FirstEnergy Stadium in Reading, is highly recommended as a high-energy start to the proceeding race weekend.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Dodge NHRA Nationals also features the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series. Fans will have the chance to spend time with drivers thanks to exclusive pit passes to this thrilling motorsports event.
