Bosch famously makes electric stoves, washers, tools and several other household appliances. They also created their own electric bike the<em> E-Bike.\u00a0<\/em>It was only a matter of time before the company set their sights on 4-wheels. The Kart is powered by two electric motors and a 48-volt lithium\u00a0ion battery that can be topped up with an energy recovering system. \u00a0Output for the e-kart is 26 horsepower with a monstrous\u00a0220 pound-feet of torque.<\/p>\n<p>The e-kart has been built in conjunction with the FIA and the German Motorsports Association (DMSB) as a proof of concept for an electric karting series.
